تسخين أوكسالات الحديدوز بمعزل عن الهواء

هى أحدى الطرق المستخدمة فى تحضير أكسيد الحديد الثنائي FeO

- يتم تسخين أوكسالات الحديدوز بمعزل عن الهواء حتى لا يتأكسد أكسيد الحديد (II) الناتج إلى أكسيد الحديد (III) وذلك بسبب تصاعد غاز أول أكسيد الكربون وهو عامل مختزل يختزل أكسيد الحديد (II) إلى أكسيد الحديد (III).

- عند تسخين أوكسالات الحديد (II) فى الهواء فإن أكسيد الحديد (II) الناتج يتأكسد بأكسجين الهواء الجوي إلى أكسيد الحديد (III) من خلال التفاعل التالي:

- كما يمكن تحضير تحضير أكسيد الحديد الثنائي FeO بإختزال الأكاسيد الأعلى للحديد بالهيدروجين أو بأول أكسيد الكربون عند درجة حرارة (400 -700 Co)
